SCUUF has introduced Main Street Voices, a new, one-of-a-kind community initiative featuring an ongoing series of public events that uniquely combines both fresh entertainment and inspiring thought leaders.  Programming will showcase regional creativity, allowing people to share their talent, expertise and culture with others to build community spirit.

Main Street Voices aims to create a sense of unity, foster learning and provide a platform for people to express themselves.  The mix of programming can also help boost the local economy by showcasing quality entertainment and informative speakers that have the power to transform communities.

Main Street Voices is designed to be different.  It’s not just a quality concert series or an informative speaker’s series – it’s both.  Organizers expect this distinctive variety of ‘voices’ to engage friends of all backgrounds, including youth, from up and down the river from Wisconsin to Minnesota, where we live and work and play together.

Organized by SCUUF volunteers, Main Street Voices plans to rotate its programming between fresh entertainment and topical, informative presentations.  Events will be held at various regional venues.

Speakers and panel discussions will foster education, life-long learning and intellectual curiosity. They will provide a platform for experts in different fields to share their knowledge and insights, and to facilitate constructive conversations on important issues facing the community. These discussions will cover a wide range of topics, ranging from science and technology to history and culture, providing an opportunity to learn about different cultures and perspectives.

Signature performances will feature, music, art, dance, and other forms of concerts and entertainment, which have the power to unite people from diverse backgrounds, creating a sense of shared experience and common identity.

Stay tuned for more information about our 2024 schedule of events.
